I only bring this up because at the Washtenaw GOP Executive Committee meeting earlier this month, a member asked me if I could give the official explanation for why Dr. Paul did not return a contribution from a neo-Nazi.  I said I could not speak on official behalf of the campaign, but my personal belief was that the campaign was too busy to be in the business of returning contributions, and besides, all kinds of messed-up people support all different candidates. 

In DC - the representatives of our fine nation are possibly going to vote on an International treaty called 'The Law of the Sea Treaty' (LOST). Up for debate is where, how, and who administers the open seas. That means lawsuits, fines, and other nasty governmental reaches.  LOST was rejected by Regan back in the 80's for several reasons. But now it looks like Bush may be in support of the US signing on.

Now ABC News has broken a story on how a Pentagon's secret internet systems detect Al Qaeda web broadcasts - intercepting messages before they hit the web. The last message picked up days pre-broadcast.

Congressman and Presidential candidate Ron Paul will be speaking at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor campus at 7:30pm, Tuesday October 9th, following the Michigan Republican Presidential Debate. It will take place on the University of Michigan Diag, in front of the Hatcher Graduate Library.

The event is free and open to the public.

Congressman Paul:

-Never voted to increase taxes
-Never voted for an unbalanced budget
-Never taken a government paid junket
-Never voted against the 2nd Amendment
-Is totally opposed to illegal immigration and abortion

Ron Paul will be speaking on the University of Michigan diag on Tuesday, October 9th, at 7pm following the debate. This is a wonderful opportunity to see Dr. Paul speak in person. I’m sure there will be a huge turnout.
