Executive Committee Candidate Registration

Individuals may use this form to register to be a nominee for the Washtenaw County Executive Committee. This position will be filled by appointment of the Washtenaw County Executive Committee at the next available meeting.

We are especially looking for individuals that can bring professional experience to the committee in the following areas.

  • Campaign Management
  • Public Relations
  • Writers
  • Graphic Design
  • Fund Raising
  • Event Organization
  • Absentee Ballot Chase

Candidates should be aware that:

  • Appointed Members will serve for the balance of the current term which ends December 2020.

  • The Executive Committee meets at 7:00 PM on the second Thursday of every month

  • Executive Committee members are expected to attend these meetings.  Missing 5 meetings in a 12 month period will result in automatic removal from the committee, per our Bylaws.

  • All Executive Committee members are expected to serve on one of the four committees: Finance/Fundraising, Public Relations/Outreach, Events or Candidates/Campaigns.

  • A candidate statement, although not required, is highly recommended when submitting your name for consideration. 

  • Appointment as an officer of the Washtenaw County Executive Committee should not be taken lightly. Republican candidates and the other sitting members of the committee will depend on your ability to dedicate time and energy to the committee.  When submitting your name for election to the committee, please give due consideration to your ability to support both our candidates and the other members of the committee
